EMSA WEST U4-U19 COMMUNITY SOCCER

2025-26 Indoor Season – Registration Open

Registration for the Indoor Soccer Season is open until September 5, 2025.

2025/2026 EMSA WEST U4-U19 INDOOR COMMUNITY SOCCER

Registration for the 2025-26 EMSA West U4–U19 Indoor Community Soccer season is open from August 1 to September 5, 2025.
The season is scheduled to kick off October 11, 2025, and run until the end of January, 2026.

Teams play once a week from mid-October through to the end of January. If teams qualify for the post-season, they may play into March. Games are once a week, on Saturdays, at one of three indoor soccer centres (west, east or south). Most teams will also have one practice per week on a weeknight at a school gym close to the community. All coaches are volunteers.

EMSA West is part of the Edmonton Minor Soccer Association (EMSA main) and is dedicated to the development of youth soccer. They have grassroots soccer programs for all ages and skill levels including their Premier teams.

To register, families must hold a valid 2025–26 Westridge Wolf Willow Country Club Community League Membership, effective September 1, 2025 through August 31, 2026.

Equipment:

All players must have shin pads, socks, shorts and a non-marking sole indoor athletic shoe. Communities will supply a jersey/shirt, and a deposit or fee may be charged by the community. Please also have a labelled water bottle for your child.

Indoor Facilities:

U4/U5:  FX Sport Centre
U7:  West Soccer Centre 17415 106a Ave NW, Edmonton
U9 and Up:  City wide Soccer Centres

Locations of each game will be listed on your schedule. Admission is required for spectators 18-59 years old at Edmonton Soccer Association Facilities.

For program details please go to www.emsawest.com.

⚠️ Please Note:

All families registering players in EMSA programs are required to have a current Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues (EFCL) membership. EFCL memberships expire annually at the end of August and must be purchased from your home community on which you live in, even if that community does not have an active soccer program. This is a bylaw for the community leagues.

OUTDOOR SEASON FIELD LOCATIONS

There are several sports fields in the Westridge and Oleskiw neighbourhoods and each is designed for specific age groups. U4-U8 can generally be found playing at Westridge Sports Fields where the fields are smaller than regulation size to help the our youngest players grasp the basics of the game.

The Oleskiw Sports Fields are regulation size for U10 and up for Premier level players.
