Here at Westridge/Wolf Willow/Country club Courts we are blessed to have 275 active courts members. Join us on Saturday, August 9 as we celebrate National Pickleball Day — Canada’s fastest growing sport! More details on what WWWCCCL Courts has planned below.

The second Saturday of August has been designated as National Pickleball Day in Canada, a day to celebrate and promote the sport that connects us all. In 2025, National Pickleball Day will take place on Saturday, August 9th. National Pickleball Day isn’t only for members and affiliated clubs, just like pickleball, it’s for all! This celebration is an excellent vehicle to drive awareness of our sport and introduce the game to new players across the country. Every club can host events such as learn-to-play sessions to expose new players to the game, promoting social inclusion and health benefits, as well as demonstrating how fun and friendly the game truly is.

Provincial and Territorial Associations – Recognize National Pickleball Day by encouraging your clubs/communities to organize
something on Saturday, August 9 that will create awareness of pickleballand/or introduce the game to potential players.

📍 Event at WWWCCCL Courts

We’re proud to host this celebration right here at the Westridge/Wolf Willow/Country Club Community League courts, home to 275 active members and a vibrant local pickleball community!

Here’s what’s planned:

🔓 Free Play – Community Members & Guests Court Time
9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Please bring your tennis/PB equipment. Balls will be provided, some extra pedals are available. There will be free instruction and open Q&A.
Open courts for all members of the Westridge Wolf Willow Country Club Community League (WWWCCCL)! Come try the sport, bring a friend, or drop in for a match. Whether you’re a first-timer or a regular player, we welcome you to enjoy a full day of FREE play.

🍔 Play & BBQ – Courts Members & Guests
BBQ from 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Food served until 7:00 PM
A team led by David Dam and Jocelyn McKenna are planning a PLAY & BBQ for courts members and their guests.

BBQ: 10$/ person. 12 and under free
Pickleball Play: Free for courts members & guests
