📝 Tournament Description

The Westridge Wolf Willow Country Club Community League (WWWCCCL) is proud to host the 2025 Annual Eats & Beats Pickleball Tournament at the newly upgraded Westridge courts!

This non-sanctioned, full-fun tournament is open to players of all skill levels. Join us for a weekend of competitive play, community celebration, and family-friendly fun!

💲 Fees

• Westridge Court Members: $40
• Non-Members: $60

Your entry fee includes registration for one or more events — no additional cost for multiple event participation!

• Free snacks and fruit during the event
• Access to water fountains (please bring your own bottle)
• 50/50 draw raffle, and auction items
• Saturday, Sept 6 after 3:00 PM (Eats & Beats Festival):

  • Beer Gardens 🍻
  • Live Music 🎶 (at the rink)

📅 Event Schedule

• Friday, Sept 5 (Evening, time TBD): Open Singles (knockout round like tennis)
• Saturday, Sept 6: Scrambled Doubles (Skill Levels: 2.5 – 4.5+)
• Sunday, Sept 7: Famous 3-vs-3 Event (Skill Levels: 2.5 – 4.5+)

Note: The Tournament Director reserves the right to modify or merge events or change schedules based on participation.

🏆 Event Formats

Singles

• Single Elimination (game length TBD)

Scrambled Doubles

• Round-robin format (game length TBD)
• Register as a single player (self-rated skill level)
• Random pairings each round (male/female mixed)
• Top 6 players advance to playoffs (format TBD based on registration)

3-vs-3 Event

• Register as a team of 3
• Each team must include at least 1 woman OR a parent + 2 children OR a grandparent + immediate family combo
• Round-robin followed by playoffs (format TBD based on number of teams)

🏅 Event Winners & Prizes

Prize money to all event winners!

• Gold, Silver, Bronze: Borrow enlarged medal for a photo-op 📸
• 1st Place: One-year free WWWCCC courts membership (valued up to $72)
• 2nd Place: 3 guest certificates for WWWCCC courts (value $30)
• 3rd Place: 1 guest certificate for WWWCCC courts (value $10)

Prizes are transferable (with notice to the courts director) but not redeemable for cash.

📌 Registration Details

• Deadline: August 31, 2025 at 11:00 PM
• Team/Individual information must be submitted with payment by August 31, 2025
• Register via e-transfer to Lorrie Pullishy at lorriep@me.com
  • Note player’s name for singles and scrambled doubles
  • List all team players’ names for the 3-vs-3 event
  • Use subject: Westridge Tourney
• Confirmation sent once registration and payment are complete

🌦 Weather Policy

• This is an outdoor event.
• Rain-out dates: September 13–14, 2025
• If both weekends are cancelled due to weather, no refunds will be issued, as this is a fundraiser for Stage 2 of court development (expected completion: October 2025).
• In-progress events will be assessed case-by-case.

💵 Refund Policy

• Withdrawals by August 24, 2025 at 6:00 PM → Full refund minus $15 admin fee
• No refunds after August 24, 2025 at 6:00 PM (no exceptions)
• Registration will be managed via Google Sheets (not Pickleball Brackets) to keep costs low.

🎁 Donations

Donations are welcome before, during, and after the tournament.

• Nets: Permanent & Portable
• Ball: Franklin X-40 (Yellow)
• Courts: 8 permanent + 4 marked courts with portable nets (if needed)
