Indoor Soccer 2008
 ~ Please contact Chris at 481-3524 to volunteer to help with the Indoor Soccer season.

Volunteer Opportunities

Soccer needs volunteers at the team level, the community level and the zone level.

~ We need volunteers to work at our community table during Indoor Soccer Registration. Sept 9 and 11 6:00 - 9:00 at Edmonton Soccer Centre: 17415-106A Ave (7/24/2008)

~ The Edmonton West Zone Soccer Association needs the following volunteers. This help is with tournaments, finals, provincials, bingos, or anything else which is needed for soccer to run a soccer program: (5/13/2008)

August 8, 9, 10 2008, Tier 3 Provincials - Callingwood area - 20 volunteers Field Marshalls

September 9 and 11, 2008 -Indoor Registration set up, take down, and help the zone during registration –16 volunteers (tentatively filled Crestwood volunteers)
Sept 8 set up 12 - 4: Sept 9 and 11 5:30 to 9:30pm. ish

November 20th 2008, Bingo- Caesar's Palace, Thursday Evening, 4:45pm to 12midnight. 16 volunteers

December 2008, Polar Cup - - 10 volunteers.

January 1 and 2 2009, Casino - Sign up during Indoor Soccer Registration.

What is a Field Marshall?
Provides information and maintains communication between the game site(s) and headquarters. The Headquarters will resolve any soccer questions/ issues.
Indoor - 4 – 6 hour shift. Picks up game sheets, posts scores and duties as assigned.
Outdoor - 4 – 6 hour shift. Reports to headquarters. Assigned to a field site. Ensures nets, referees and teams are on site, reports game delays or problems with field conditions to headquarters.
